P0183029 - The first Griffon 8000 hovercraft rests on the beach at Bembridge on 3rd
June 2000 during sea trials.

P0183410 - The first Griffon 8000 is seen here in two views at the company yard at
Woolston near Southampton on 3rd June 2000.

P0183942 - Hover-Gen's Peter Mugridge had the great honour of being allowed to drive
the first Griffon 8000 for a few minutes on June 3rd 2000, thus becoming the
first person [ other than factory staff ] to ever drive the type. He was
followed in this by Yolanda Collins, who therefore became the second
person - and first woman - to drive the type.
